苏州科技城文体中心
该项目位于苏州科技城,秀水桥南,浒光运河东侧。 通过分析苏州古今城市发展史,同时针对业主所提出的设计目标,我们精炼出“科技,山水,人文”为设计思想指导。设计方将从新结构体系的提出,新材料和建造技术,以及高科技手段的运用方面体现“科技”理念;通过生态设计和自然景观的引入实现“山水”理念;从地域性,可识别性,市民化和集体文化认同感等方面 体现“人文”理念。
在具体的设计理念上,我们强调“云形水石——苏州科技城的文化新地标”一个新兴的现代智力型城市的公共建筑需要一个实现公益最大化的场所,可以满足和激发市民自发行为。同时,也要重现城市历史中所拥有的园林精神,提供更适宜和人性的生活环境。所以建筑需要像太湖石一样,拥有多孔性带来的丰富性,在承载多样的市民行为的同时,也将阳光,空气,水体带入空间。太湖石石体被湖水“雕琢”而出虚实相生,内外辩证的空间模式。这种普适的空间关系也是东西方在空间认知上的共识。老子云:“埏埴以为器,当其无,有器之用。凿户牖以为室,当其无,有室之用。”英国现代雕塑大师亨利•摩尔创作的《斜倚像》雕塑,均强调虚空的洞与实体具有同样的意义。苏州科技城文化中心的设计也试图将这种普适的内外辩证的空间模式运用在建筑设计中,营造一个自由意志的市民文化场所,让人在建筑中的流动像水在石中的流动一样,最后如同水的交溶作用,达到一种文化的交融。太湖石的孔洞按类型分为窝孔、穿孔、道孔三种,在建筑空间上有不同的意义和功用。在空间上,窝孔有对区域的限定,让人停留的作用;道孔有对方向和视线的导向作用,同时引导人的流动;穿孔有空间联系,视线和景观渗透的作用。
在城市设计方面,该项目主要分为三大板块:
1. 项目主要有体育中心和文化中心两部分组成,前者带有很强的目的性,后者有潜在的随机性。
2. 建筑体量沿北侧道路、城市边界形成宏达大的叙事场面与广场入口;沿现状山体则形成层层退台,局部设置院落,建立与自然的亲密关系。
3. 沿山体设置景观步道,建立一条横穿场地的步行平台,并连接道路交叉口的入口广场,形成一个“T”字形的规划结构。
The project is located in Suzhou Science and Technology City, south of Xiushui Bridge, east of Shuguang Canal. By analyzing the history of old and modern development of Suzhou city, and summarizing the proposed design pursers by the project developer, we refined the "technology, landscape, humanities" as the design main concept. The designer will embody the concept of “technology” by applying new structural systems, new materials and construction techniques and high-tech means; realize the concept of “landscape” through ecological design and natural views; understand the concept of "humanity" through civilization and the collective cultural identity.
In terms of specific design concepts, we emphasize “cloud-shaped water stone – the new cultural landmark of Suzhou Science and Technology City”. A public building in an emerging modern intellectual city needs a place to maximize public welfare, which can satisfy and stimulate the creations of citizens. At the same time, it is necessary to reproduce the garden spirit possessed in the history of Suzhou, and provide a better living environment. Therefore, the building needs to be as multiple as the Taihu Stone. It has the richness of porosity and brings the sun, air and water into the space while carrying various citizens' behaviors. The Taihu stone is "carved” by the lake water, and the spatial pattern of internal and external dialectic. This cognition of the spatial relationship is same in both East and West world. Laozi said: "the emptiness of a pottery makes the pottery useful and the emptiness of a room with open window makes the room useful" The sculpture of "Reclining Image" by Henry Moore, a famous British sculptor, emphasizes A void hole has the same meaning as what Laozi is said. The design of Suzhou Science and Technology Cultural Center also attempts to apply the concept into the architecture design to create a free willing cultural space of the citizen. In the case, just like the flowing water passing through Taihu stone. The holes of the stone means different functions in the building, and space with staggered and visual contact from different levels of diverse people.
For the urban design, the project is divided into three sections:
1. The project consists of two parts: the sports center and the cultural center. The former has a strong purpose and the latter has potential randomness.
2. The building volume along the north side of the road, the city boundary together to form a great view with the entrance to the square; layers of retreat along the formation the mountain , sometimes with courtyards, establish a close relationship with nature.
3. Set up a landscape trail along the mountain, build a walking platform though the site and connect the entrance plaza of the intersection, to form a “T” shaped planning structure.
